Halfway There

Halfway There

Our 2012 fundraising drive is underway, and we need you!  To date,
we've raised $26,336, which brings our total to $52,672 with our
dollar-for-dollar matching donation.

This year, we introduced regular reports by analysts and journalists,
such as Bill Black, Gareth Porter, Larry Wilkerson, Phyllis Bennis,
Vijay Prashad, and Michael Ratner, who cover international affairs,
the economy, US foreign and military policy, and human rights.  And if
you haven't already, check out our interviews with Law Enforcement
Against Prohibition (LEAP) officers from the US and abroad.

We also have reporters stationed internationally, like Jihan Hafiz in
Spain and Egypt; David Dougherty in Latin America; Hassan Ghani in the
United Kingdom; Frederik Blauwhof in Germany; and Lia Tarachansky in
Tel Aviv.

With your support, we want to do even more in 2013.  For example,
we'll expand Canadian coverage and stories from Washington, D.C.'s
Capitol Hill.  With our new U.S. headquarters in Baltimore, our local
coverage will become far more robust.  We're also planning a half-hour
daily program that will bring TRNN to millions of homes, starting in
New York.

But we can't do all of this without your help.

If you would like to see more uncompromising journalism from The Real
News in 2013, please donate now!
